The Future Of Dixi

We are now closed to orders until our relaunch in September. Being a small business we rarely have the opportunity to take time off. It's been a stressful few years for our very small team so you'll find us taking 4 weeks of this July to refresh and get ready for our new chapter. We will return in August but behind the scenes to polish off our fresh new look, so you can expect to hear from us then.

In the mean time while we are away from all our inboxes, we kindly ask that you avoid emailing queries if at all possible - please utilise our comprehensive help pages because your question is probably already answered, and you won't have to wait for us!

RETURNS
As we won't be in the office to receive and action returns, we urge you to hold onto your returns until the beginning of August - this is just so it doesn't get returned to sender if our postman can't deliver it! Please don't panic - we will honour your return in August.

ORDERS
All orders made up until our close have been processed and dispatched - you should receive email confirmation containing tracking information (if applicable - tracking is NOT available for Standard UK delivery). If it hasn't dropped in your inbox, please check your spam or 'promotions' tab if you use gmail. Please allow a minimum of 15 business days for UK delivery, and 21 business days for International delivery.

TRACKING
All orders are posted via Royal Mail so if you have a tracking number, you can track your parcel here. Please note that we do not have access to further information - only the same tracking page as you. Tracking is NOT updated while it is with customs. This can take a few days, so please be patient while it is processed.

EMAILS
If you do end up needing to email, please be aware that there will be a delay until we make our return in August. We may have one or two mid-holiday check-ins to deal with any urgent matters, but we aren't guaranteeing this.

THE FUTURE OF DIXI
We wanted to have a quick chat about what to expect when we return and the reasoning behind it.

As we've mentioned in our Instagram stories, Dixi is changing. After a lot of thought, tears, stress, and deliberation, we've started to piece together how we want to see Dixi flourish in the next few years. We're following our hearts, and it's time for us to return to our roots.

We want to:

  • declutter the website & simplify it for your shopping experience
  • increase sustainability (not just production, but how we run as a business day-to-day)
  • be even kinder to the environment
  • downsize our inventory offering
  • create even more meaningful and enduring products
  • encourage mindful purchases (rather than impulse ones!) that become an 'experience' that you can get excited for every now and again
  • and of course continue to put all our heart into what we put out on our socials for your inspiration.

We've already begun making these changes for many years behind the scenes, but our huge sales over the last few weeks have signalled the start of this transition for you, our Pack.

For the last few months, we've been saying a fond farewell and bon voyage to the last of the plated items in our inventory. We know that some of you may be upset to see these kind of lines go, but we really want to focus on curating small, meaningful offerings going forward. Spending lots of time designing, arranging manufacture, itemising, shooting, and marketing lots of extra, cheaper products to go with our main drops just isn't feasible anymore, and it isn't where our heart lies either.

For new releases going forward, you can expect to see very small 'capsule' drops of 1 or 2 key pieces that we've put our heart and souls into - mainly sterling silver, but we hope to bring some more 9ct Gold into your stacks too! We'll also be including lots of vintage finds alongside our Dixi designed pieces - perfectly curated so you don't have to do the hard work of finding the best treasures.

We really hope you'll share our vision for the future and stick around, but no hard feelings if you don't! Not everyone will like this direction for us, but we know this is the right decision for Dixi.

And don't worry - the HEART of Dixi will be exactly the same. The aesthetic and vision is still us, just better!

We are so excited to share what we've been working on (and teasing relentlessly.... sorry!) and get started on this new era of Dixi with all of you.

Hugs and howls,
Amy, Vicky, Marianne, and Matt

I have the ‘By the moonlight’ and’Hand in hand into
the ocean blue’ rings. There is something so special and indefinable about them. I wear them every day. :)

Great idea! I bought a sterling silver dixi ring 7 years ago and wear it every day. It means so much to me and because it is great quality, it lasts and lasts, even through mud baths and oceans. Having a quality piece is such a great way to be sustainable, so I love the direction Dixi is going! Looking forward to seeing the new pieces in September! Enjoy a well earned rest!

I think this is a really good direction for dixi. I can only wear silver and gold, and as much as I like a lot of the plated designs, it doesn’t always last. Really looking forward to seeing where your creativity takes you.

I love these sentiments! Personally cannot wait to see less plated and more sterling silver jewellery. I adore your work and can’t wait to see the future product offerings.
