It is crucial that we in the Global North are doing everything we can to lessen our impact on the planet, and one small change we made recently is partnering with UK based company Ecologi. You can feel good every time you purchase some Dixi goodies, as since 18th of August 2021 we have been planting trees on your behalf with our partner Ecologi. We kick started our journey with 1000 trees to help the Forests Flourish and you can see how far we've already come here. We originally planted one tree for every order but due to very high increasing costs we have had to adjust to 1 tree for every order £100+ from January 2024. We love being able to see exactly when and where your trees are being given life! You are making a true difference without any additional effort - win win!

 

Why did we chose Ecologi? 🌲

It’s now common knowledge that one of the best tools to tackle the climate crisis and keep our temperatures from rising above 1.5C is to plant trees. They are also crucial to preventing ecological collapse. One thing we loved about Ecologi is their transparency. We know what projects they are funding and where, and they even post receipts to back it up. We also liked the easy, clear way our customers can watch their Dixi contributions grow.

Why are we pointing this out? Because we know that the money passed through to them is going to be spent well. It’s a figure we can all feel good about, because while every organisation needs to cover expenses and wages for their staff, a huge percentage of our money goes back into the environment.
