Update 28/04 re: COVID-19 and deliveries

Awoo Dixi Fam,
We just wanted to pop back in with some friendly reminders and updates in regards to Dixi orders and deliveries :)
We are currently dispatching 2-3times per week.
This will continue until further notice, so please bear in mind that depending on when in the week you place your order, it may not leave us for up to 4 days.
Delays are expected with delivery for everyone.
All postal services, UK and worldwide, are operating with reduced staff all while trying to keep social distancing measures in place - their workload has increased exponentially. The same is true of all border forces and customs processing hubs. We are also aware of some local Royal Mail depots organising mail in priority where best they can. Putting a time span on the potential delays this causes is practically impossible, so your ongoing patience and understanding is appreciated both by us, and by our delivery providers. Please remember that shipping times given are, even on a normal day, an estimate, and not a guarantee (except when we offer guaranteed express services). Only in very rare cases do orders not arrive, so please hang tight because it'll probably be with you soon! At this time, we will not consider parcels lost till 30days have past in the UK or 60days have passed worldwide.
We are online shoppers too, and have experienced delays to our own deliveries ourselves. We get it. It's frustrating when you are waiting for your order! But these delays are for a good reason, and we hope you can understand why.
Express shipping is suspended.
While we cannot predict the length of delays, we will only be able to offer our standard delivery services. This is to prevent disappointment and inconvenience to you.
Tracking may not be available.
Tracking depends on the ability of the postal service to scan through the parcel at regular intervals. While workloads are increased, these regular scans go down on the priority list. This is outside of our control, and we do not have access to any further tracking or information.
If your order tracking states delivered and it hasn't dropped through your letterbox, please check all safe places, outside, and with other members of your household.
Postal services are doing what they can to provide contactless deliveries, so many not ring the doorbell or ask for you to sign for your order. This is for your safety.
Some countries remain subject to restrictions.
This means that we aren't able to ship orders to these regions until restrictions are lifted. Unfortunately we cannot take orders and hold them for you. We appreciate you sticking with us while we wait out these restrictions! We will let you know when the situation changes.
We aren't an essential service.
As much as on any other day we'd like to argue otherwise! A few extra days wait for your order is nothing, if it helps our essential workers stay safe.
When you email us, please be patient and remember that there is an actual human being at the other end.
Please let us assist you without the help of unpleasant messages. We are experiencing all the same inconveniences and worries as you all right now, too. Let's all be a little kinder to one another. :)
